Sound Detector – Analog & digital output

this sound detection microphone sensor module is ideal for noise detection in alarm systems, home automation and other applications in which an event is triggered based upon the presence or absence of sound. The module features two outputs: DO is a digital output which goes high when sound is detected, and can be connected to a digital input of microcontroller. AO is an analog output that provides a real-time output voltage signal of the microphone. LED1 illuminates when power is applied to the module. LED2 illuminates when sound is detected (i.e. when DO goes high). The sound threshold to trigger DO is adjusted by the on-board potentiometer.
